If you’re looking for a place to get away from your busy life, this is THE place to stay in Marin. It’s private, secluded and has everything you need, from a beautiful view, to a hammock, hot tub and cold plunge tub. The host was lovely to chat with and very informative about the property and offering helpful recommendations if you want to explore Mill Valley. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and was able to get clarity that I was looking for. I have so much gratitude for what this place has done for me, mentally and emotionally. I wish my stay was longer since it’s a beautiful property to get back into balance with yourself.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was just right for our needs for a getaway and home base to explore the Muir Woods. The furniture was so comfortable, and beautiful views out the windows across the canyon. We enjoyed the hot tub and lounge chairs after a full day of hiking, with the Muir Woods Nat'l Monument so close and convenient. You can hike right from the house, or make a short drive to other trailheads. Jena’s guidebook has good tips on the area. Highly recommend a visit here, especially for active nature lovers!

This place is magical. The views are stunning, and the space comfortable and inviting. The distance to town was perfect far enough to feel secluded, close enough that a barista coffee is a short walk/drive away (although the kitchen is well stocked and the thoughtful, healthy, but naughty snacks delish). I went for a writing retreat and Jena was very accommodating. She shared fantastic recommendations, including for a short but invigorating run to a nearby waterfall. Mill Valley is special!

This spot was perfect for us, a couple looking for a peaceful, yet accessible retreat into the woods north of SF. It’s a 5min drive from charming downtown Mill Valley, but the views of Cascade Canyon were as if we’d driven miles into nature! This is an ideal jumping off point to visit Mt. Tam, Sausalito, and Tiburon. Nearby trails and famous Cascade Drive made for excellent running paths. The host was kind, responsive and accommodating.

I wanted to do a writing retreat and this place was everything I needed to remove day to day distractions and focus on writing. Super dog friendly, so I was able to bring my german shepherd and let her run around the large backyard. Jena is amazing. Very attentive and quick to respond. She greeted me with a warm welcome and a warm goodbye. I especially appreciated hearing her harp around bedtime it was like falling asleep to a lullaby.

My stay here was so much more than I expected. Jena was so accommodating. I’ve never been made to feel so welcomed to voice my desires (an empowering thing.) I indulged in the wellness services–massage and sound healing . The massage was great. Even if you are skeptical about sound healing, but have been seeking healing in anyway body, mind or soul, I would highly highly recommend this. Through this journey and experience I had the most beautiful visions. I plan on a longer session next time. The space is so cozy, beautiful and peaceful inside and out. I used the tub everyday and did the hot and cold plunge. I can’t say all I wish to say, just BOOK IT.

The bed was very comfortable, better than most vacation rentals. The hammock was a gift for taking it all in, not rushing, absorbing the blues and the greens. The hill to the village with the fantastic Depot cafe for coffee and lunch, was an easy walk, but far enough away to be surrounded in quiet.

We keep coming here when we need a mini getaway in the Bay Area. It keeps getting better each time! The house has exceptional views of the canyon and is perfectly clean. It has great wifi for streaming and video calls and a dedicated work space too! It’s very private and feels like our own little corner in the canyon. The hot tub outside is great at night under the clear starry skies, and a fireplace indoors for some relaxing book readings too! This a great place to bring your pets, and my pup had the best time running around and walking down the canyon to the Old Mill park every day. Jena also hosted a sound bath session which was very relaxing and highly recommended when escaping the city. Highly recommended for families and pups alike, for a private relaxing retreat in the woods, yet just 10 minutes away from city life.

This place is a magical retreat. I signed up for a private sound healing ceremony and am so glad I did. Jena sang and played the harp, while Francis played crystal singing bowls, Tibetan bowls, gong, and more. A truly wonderful experience. I've been feeling much lighter since the sound healing session. I'd highly recommend checking out the wellness services. The suite was lovely and cozy. Waking up, making coffee, and soaking in the hot tub with the gorgeous view was definitely worth it. It’s private, secluded and has everything you need, from a beautiful view, to a hammock, hot tub and cold plunge tub. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and was able to get clarity that I was looking for. I have so much gratitude for what this place has done for me, mentally and emotionally. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was just right for our needs for a getaway and home base to explore the Muir Woods. The furniture was so comfortable, and beautiful views out the windows across the canyon. We enjoyed the hot tub and lounge chairs after a full day of hiking, with the Muir Woods Nat'l Monument so close and convenient. You can hike right from the house, or make a short drive to other trailheads. Jena’s guidebook has good tips on the area. Highly recommend a visit here, especially for active nature lovers!

The distance to town was perfect far enough to feel secluded, close enough that a barista coffee is a short walk/drive away (although the kitchen is well stocked and the thoughtful, healthy, but naughty snacks delish). I went for a writing retreat and Jena was very accommodating. She shared fantastic recommendations, including for a short but invigorating run to a nearby waterfall. Mill Valley is special!

It’s a 5min drive from charming downtown Mill Valley, but the views of Cascade Canyon were as if we’d driven miles into nature! This is an ideal jumping off point to visit Mt. Tam, Sausalito, and Tiburon. Nearby trails and famous Cascade Drive made for excellent running paths. The host was kind, responsive and accommodating.

My stay here was so much more than I expected. Jena was so accommodating. I’ve never been made to feel so welcomed to voice my desires (an empowering thing.) I indulged in the wellness services–massage and sound healing . The massage was great. Even if you are skeptical about sound healing, but have been seeking healing in anyway body, mind or soul, I would highly highly recommend this. Through this journey and experience I had the most beautiful visions. I plan on a longer session next time. The space is so cozy, beautiful and peaceful inside and out. I used the tub everyday and did the hot and cold plunge. I can’t say all I wish to say, just BOOK IT.

We keep coming here when we need a mini getaway in the Bay Area. It keeps getting better each time! The house has exceptional views of the canyon and is perfectly clean. It has great wifi for streaming and video calls and a dedicated work space too! It’s very private and feels like our own little corner in the canyon. The hot tub outside is great at night under the clear starry skies, and a fireplace indoors for some relaxing book readings too! This a great place to bring your pets, and my pup had the best time running around and walking down the canyon to the Old Mill park every day. Jena also hosted a sound bath session which was very relaxing and highly recommended when escaping the city. Highly recommended for families and pups alike, for a private relaxing retreat in the woods, yet just 10 minutes away from city life.

This place is a magical retreat. I signed up for a private sound healing ceremony and am so glad I did. Jena sang and played the harp, while Francis played crystal singing bowls, Tibetan bowls, gong, and more. A truly wonderful experience. I've been feeling much lighter since the sound healing session. I'd highly recommend checking out the wellness services. The suite was lovely and cozy. Waking up, making coffee, and soaking in the hot tub with the gorgeous view was definitely worth it.
